Snow-Shoe Walking Holiday
in the French Alps

Snowshoes work by distributing your weight over a larger area so that your feet don't sink completely into the snow. The only additional equipment used are ski or walking poles (to help with balance) ;  these are provided.

Join us for this wonderful opportunity in the French Alps, and have the experience of a lifetime.

Equipment is provided and to allow everyone to get accustomed to this new way of walking we shall start on flat terrain before moving on to pine forests, glacier valleys, high snow covered moutain pastures...

Our base will be in the village of Samoëns, one of the oldest alpine villages of the Haute-Savoie : comfortable rooms, sauna, Turkish baths, heated pool and authentic local cuisine are key features of our base. Of course, the flowing wine and evening entertainment will ensure each day has a truly memorable ending!

If any of your family or friends are not as enthusiastic about walking as yourself but are PASSIONATE SKIERS OR SNOWBOARDERS, bring them along with you. Samoëns will delight snowboarders, downhill and cross country skiers ; the gondola lift is only 200 meters from our accommodation and the choice and quality of slopes is to the highest expectations.

Have you ever tried to glide on skis ? If you are tempted, this holiday will also allow you to try out cross-country and downhill skiing.

The Snow-Shoe Walking package includes:
