Gillian McDarby

Gillian is not only at the forefront of developing women's cycling and cyclists, she is also renowned as a formidable competitor and is using her vast knowledge and experience to assist in coaching.
SportActive has strong links with Gillian. We know her ability and experience, she brings a practical approach to developing people and everyone benefits from her guidance. To say she is very accomplished is an understatement:

  • Leinster County Champion : International competitor since 2002

  • Leinster Ladies Squad Coach

  • Numerious Wins and Results in open mixed racing

 

Gillian is an exemplary role model for women cyclists : she coaches what she has done and is doing. Gillian cycles in any group as an equal in ability and performance.
