If you are new to SportActive let us tell you something about us : we specialize in Walking Holidays with a Difference. On a SportActive walking holiday the personal touch with our guests is very important for us. Research and organization of the tours is always undertaken by Flora or Martin (the company owners) who walk with the group in addition to the professional local walking guide.

Each of the guides was born and is living in his local village, guaranteeing a great knowledge and love of his home mountains, island or region ; nevertheless, all are English speakers. In addition, either Flora or Martin is always part of the walking holiday.

A snow covered magic mountain is not only for athletic skiers, but also for leisure walkers. Our base is Samoens in the French Alps. Snowshoe walking is a new and exciting winter sport. There is no particular technique to master and, no tremendous fitness level required; snow walking is no more strenuous than a normal summer walk. Even if Walking isn't your choice, take advantage of the skiing or snowboarding opportunities the area has to offer.

Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands has some fantastic and tranquil scenery. The Northern part of this island is a world apart from the busy resorts in the south. It has retained all of its local traditions and fine architecture. Mallorca is an excellent location for walking throughout the year.There is even the opportnuity to swim outdoors in October - where else can this be done?
