Des: Cycling in Mallorca

Have cycled with SportActive for two years now in Mallorca - a great fun experience and a chance to meet many other like ability cyclists. Flora, Martin and their team run a well planned and organised cycle holiday wether it be for training or leisure. Hotel is good - food is good - "craic" is good - cycling is good and the sun is warm!! Looking forward to our next trip. Well done to all behind SportActive.

BobA: Training Camps

Have used SportActive camps on a number of occasions and find them professionally run by professional staff. Ideal for all levels from casual touring to race preparation. Having tried many other areas for early year riding Mallorca is the number one.

Hans-Peter Becker: Greetings from Hamburg

Oh, finally here it is, the long awaited guestbook. It should be a good tool for newcomers to check the "reality"about Sport Active and a chance for the old chaps to stay in contact. After being with SA already a few times on Mallorca, I can only speak highly about them. They are well prepared to make your stay unforgettable. Blood,, sweat and tears - you want it? You get it. Alistair will make you weep. Or rather the gentle tour around with the occasional coffee stop and "pam'b oli"? No problem, ask Tomeu. All the guides are top brass and know what they are doing. And all is topped by the marvelous Flora, the "brain and heart" of the troops. But the real King is the island itself! Even after 5 times on Mallorca I could not fancy another location for my spring training.

It's all there - the flat north, the "tin-roof" shape center and the hills and even mountains in the west. OK, you can do well without Arenal (the "Ballermann", as we say in Germany) - but the rest is a must.

Let's see what the season 2012 will bring. Counting the days until April.

Greetings from Hamburg / Hans-Peter

Rupert Jones: Cycling with SportActive in Majorca

I am looking forward to my third cycling week in Mallorca with SportActive having been to cycling weeks on the island with other companies. Why SportActive ? They are based in the best part of the island for a cycling holiday, in a hotel that is geared for cyclists as well as somebody who wants some leisure time.

Martin and Flora and their team are perfect hosts who cater not only for those who want to put in some hard miles for the season ahead, but also for cycling newcomers  who are a bit anxious about riding with others and who want to take things a bit more easy.

Finally, Mallorca is special for cycling. Smooth roads for every type of riding and generally good weather produce a quality of cycling that brings us back year after year.
